If all goes well, in the coming weeks I'll be the very proud owner of this new PC.

Current PC:

Gigabyte GA-7VM400M(F), VIA KM400 Chipset Motherboard
AMD Athlon XP 2200+ (Overclocked to 2600+)
512Mb PC3200 Kingmax RAM
40Gb Seagate Barracuta HDD
Usual Inbuilt LAN/Modem/Etc.
Leadtek WinFast A6600 GT TDH (Nvidia 6600GT AGP) graphics
Logitech 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers
Old/Outdated/Poor: Keyboard, mouse, monitor.

New PC:

AMD Desktop Athlon64 4000+
5 x Thermaltake Case & CPU Glowing Fans
Gigabyte Athlon64 AGP/PCI-e/SLI nVIDIA Motherboard
4Gb Corsair RAM (2 x 2gb) PC4200
HDD 1: Wstern Digital 72Gb Serial ATA [150Mbps 10,000rpm] - for games/OS.
HDD 2: Seagate 120Gb ATA [150Mbps 7200rpm] - storage.
Video Card: Nvidia 6800 Ultra 256MB HDTV, Overclocked [both card and AGP]
Considering: Video Card 2: Same as above, and run them both through SLI on the motherboard.
LG 23" LCD with USB2.0 (Black)
Sony CD/CD-RW/DVD
Slot 2: Sony DVD-RW
Alps black Floppy Disk Drive
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Platinum Soundcard

Are those PCI-e geforce 6800 ultras? Because you say that the card and agp will be overclocked. And the motherboard has AGP and PCI-e? I didn't think that was available yet, and if it is, you won't be able to run SLI with it. But other than that, looks like a bit of an upgrade eh? Nice rig :thumbsup:

Now here is a question, why do you need 4gigs of RAM? I mean I sooner understand 2gig because some new games like HL2 not only saturate my 1gig physical ram, it uses an additional 600mb or so of virtual ram (disk cache). But 4gigs?! What's gonna use all that for awhile :confused:
