View Full Version : Annoyance 2D is slow in 32bit, but not in 64bit Windows

I've been struggling for a while with different drivers and so on but nothing has ever helped.

First of all i want to point out what i'm referring to.

If you for instance open IE and starts browsing a webpage you can see when you switch from a page to another that it draws the homepage from top to bottom when switching background colour for instance. Try it for yourselves.

When i had an ATI card the switching from a page to another wasn't noticeable at all but as far when i got an 6800Ultra and VIA chipset KT800Pro this issue started to appear..

If i install Windows 64bit edition and the 64 bit drivers this issue is more or less resolved by itself.. The switching and 2d speed in IE is by far more accurate and speedy than in 32bit.

Now i wonder if someone has a solution out there for this problem. Is it an option you can enable with Rivatuner or something to get bliztering 2d??

Any solutions??
