I just noticed that in Everest under directX video section, it says for my 6800GT
32-bit Z Buffer is not supported. Modern 3D games may require it.
Is this normal for a 6800GT or is something wrong?
Don't worry about it. Unless you are running a strange broken driver, your card will support all the ZBuffer modes required. If this were not so, none of the current games or benchmarks would work. In fact I believe the 6800 series supports more modes for screen and texture output than any previous card. I couldn't find a demo of Everest to try out for you. By the way, current games usually use a 24bit zbuffer, often with a 8bit stencil buffer. Same with color, it is usually 24bit RGB with 8bit A (alpha).
