Look at the bright side. At least it will stay cooler that way

I can't even tell when my 6800GT fan is on or not. I have like 8 case fans, plus the CPU fan and the two fans on my PSU (you'd think it'd be loud, but it's really not...it's a nice, comforting hum of air).

I noticed that my fan just runs at too low speed, the idiotic item after overclocking up to 402 and downwards back to 350, the fan speed climbs up and cooling better than ever.
Lol the gossip bout the noise of the fan is simulair, normal case fans produce more sound than the fan on the vid-card and also when playing a game it will ***never*** produce more noice than your audio speakers.

It does if you are playing a certain type of games like stealth games (ex. Thief) or an adventure game & the music is off , but for action , racing & some other type of games yep you would barely here any sound from the case .

Yeah, same here, for the most part, except I have 6 case fans (5x80mm/1x90mm) and a 5950U instead of a 6800GT. I enjoy the sound.
