"The administrator has banned your email address. To contact the administrator click here"
I tried to change my current spam box to an @gmail.com address and I get the above message.
Site policy to keep trouble makers away. Ie it encourages users to register with real email addresses and not with web based ones

Once you have registered with a "real" e-mail, it's simple enough to have it changed to whatever you want.

I've registered with a "real" e-mail, but can't change to a gmail address.

With web based emails it allows too many idiots who have nothing better to do than register multiple accounts so they can post about how small and flacid their penis is. It gets boring after a while.

I "solved" this by changing to another "real" email address and forwarding everything from there to my gmail. This is ok, because I guess nobody can see my real e-mail.

That's what I was thinking, because my forum e-mail address is intercede007@gmail.com.

You probably had that in place before the ban was instituted. Everyone who had such an address was grandfathered in. My gmail account still works.
