Need Help start UT2003 under SuSE

Hi , hope someone here can help me .

I have a SuSe 7.2 system running Kernel 2.4.4-64GB-SMP.
My Graphicsboard is a Geforce 4 MX-420 PCI

I installed the nVidia_GLX-1.0-3123 & nVidia_kernel-1.0.3123
packages to my machine.

In my XF86Config i have a Load "glx" in my Modules section.

Starting X woks fine, including splash screen.

Unreal Tounrament runs fine.

BUT

If i try to start UT2003 i get the following error :

Couldn´t find glx visual

then UT2k3 exit´s

Have you a hint 4 me ?

What does glxinfo tell you?

There's an nv_check.sh script floating around the Web somewhere, too -- you might want to check into it. Ah, I still have my version here (http://3dguios.resnet.mtu.edu/nv_check.sh). Grab that and run it.

I remember someone at LNO had the same problem until they rebooted. I don't know why that would have helped, but it might be worth a shot.

Sometimes the easyest solutions are the best.

I rebooted the system and ut2003 came up fine.
