Rachel Corrie, a student at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, was standing in front of a home in a refugee camp in Rafah, near the Egyptian border, in March of 2003 when a bulldozer plowed over her.
Again terrible reporting. This is not what happened. I posted a thread on this which had a indepth and on the sport investigation on this event. She jumped but jumped the wrong way and the Catipilar driver could not see her due to the armor that shielded his view. Dispite my posting this and the fact that it came from a ULTRA libera news paper up here in Wa State, the libs here just ignored the thread. Now we have the same BS lies being told all over again.

Reminds me of this article I saw, headline said "SUV drags hit and run victim to driver's home"

and it occurs to me, that should be admissable in court as part of the defense.

I didn't know that my SUV hit a person. I wasn't aware, nor in control at anytime during this. The SUV on its own initiative hit the person, then dragged him/her to my house, I didn't have anything to do with it. You should go after Ford/GM/whatever brand that made the car. I had nothing to do with it, even the newspaper has it in there.

Then, I could just see it. The district attorney's office, if it is a liberal oriented one, would drop the case entirely and file suit immediately against the manufacturer. Yep, sounds liberal to me. Let's remove as much accountability as possible.

I doubt they will win the case.

Was it the Israeli army or Caterpillar who modified it ? If the former then they have no chance of winning, if the latter then very little I would have thought.

I think that the family, in their pain, have become convinced someone is to blame and should pay.

True, you can hardly blame them for being upset. If one of your children died from getting run over by a bulldozer I would think it'd be rather hard to accept that they were responsible for their own demise. Still, this is a frivolous lawsuit either way you look at it. Hopefully the courts will see it that way.

I hope they win against Catepillar. I want to sue Ford for my speeding tickets. Ford purposefully built a car that can not only easily speed, but can go more than twice the maximum allowable speed (in my state). They did this on purpose to intice me to speed. Proof of this is that the Maximum I am allowed to drive by law is at the half way point on my speedometer!

I want millions too!!!! er...I mean, I want them to be held accountable for their actions!
