I'm using Mouseware Ctrl Center vers 9.75.302 w/ an MX700 and I'm able to configure the buttons fine under the buttons tab. This has been an opt in the Mouseware software for a while, what vers do you have? Or are you just using the drivers?

do you guys know of a way to make the clicky part of the mouse wheel button work just like it does without mouseware?

I'll try to explain it better. With default MS mouse drivers, you can click the mouse wheel and a little white thing with arrows on it comes up. When you move the mouse a direction, it will scroll that direction on the page with a speed proportionate to the distance from the little white button on the scree. With mouseware, this turns into something else. When you move the mouse after clicking the button, it scroll like you are clicking on the scroll bar and holding it down draging it with the mouse. This pisses me off to no end.

I believe it's called AutoScroll.

I think he means side scrolling, it is really slow for some reason.

LOL! I was gonna ask Santa for one to but the kid in me said I gotta have it now :D

And yes I can confirm the latest vers of Mouseware 9.75 does address and correct the scroll issues within games.

If anyone is interested in obtaining this particular mouse, Amazon has it for $68.99 and a $20 mail-in rebate. :D
