It is true. The fact that there might be a team with a great super star and win champions does not demish the fact that a much more often a balance scoring team will win more games than a team with one super star scoring points.
:D
I think Michael Jordan would disagree with you :) That was what was really so special about MJ. He was the one person in the history of the sport that didn't need the team to win. When the rest of the team played like ****, MJ stepped up and dropped a 60+ point game "for teh win." Now granted, MJ was the greatest player ever, but I honestly think Lebron James has the biggest chance of filling Jordans shoes than anyone else.

You are right, they need to teach LeBron how to be a better team player and give him better team mates.
he averages about 7 assists per game. He gets his team involved a lot.

don't forget MJ was 28! when he won the championship...
James is 20! And I'm pretty sure, if he stays away from serious injuries .. he will become a champion sooner than MJ...
I'm not comparing him with the one and only, but he is a great talent, and as many said here before, he looks like a good kid which I appreciate

You are wrong. Michael played for the Bulls for years when they sucked. He was told he needs to be more of a team player. That was the biggest knock on him coming out of NCU. He then got good players that surrounded him and then the team took off. So nothing of what I said changed. In fact Michael's story in the NBA is exactly what I thought of when I stated what I did.

I think you are not understanding what I am saying. I am not sahing LeBron is not a good or all around player. This is not a knock on him or his 56 points. What I have said is true. LeBron will not be able to carry a team to the NBA championship until he gets support from a better line up. He can have 7 assists all year long but if there is only 14 points that come from those assists that doesn't mean much. ;)
