I've been reading a couple of the posts here, mostly for mandrake. I've noticed that before you compile and install the GLX and the NVIDIA driver modules that you should have your kernel sources. I'm not quite sure what that means. Does it mean your kernel source directory which should be under /usr/src/Linux-VERSION/? because that directory is non-existant on my computer. If anyone has installed the Nvidia drivers under debian (using the default 2.4 woody kernel), could you drop me some tips before i mess it all up? hehe, thanks!

You need the 'kernel-source-version' package.
