Simply stunned. This thing is absolutely amazing.
On my 3500+ (2.2GHz)

246FSB x 11= 2.71GHz
HTTx4
1.55v
1:1 Memory Ratio CL2.5 1T Timings

9 Instances of toast running! I'm stunned. And I think this has more room to move, but my memory is only rated at DDR500.

And my new 3DMark 2005 Score?
10,265

I'm so glad my Asus died :D :D :D

2.71GHz... WOW that faster than Athlon 64 4000+ and Athlon FX 55, I think Athlon 64 4200+ used 2.6GHz. Now your CPU are equal to roughly Athlon 64 4400+

Well congrats Jakup. I knew when I suggested this board to you tha it would be a lot of fun for you. However, I never expected you to hit 2.7ghz with that CPU. That DFI truly is amazing!!

The 4000+ has 1Mb cache though, and so do the FX chips.

Still this is amazing! It probably performs about on par with an FX-55. Congrats, you just saved yourself $550 :D

The only bad thing about that dfi is space is a bit tight with ultras. Anyway great overclock. :D

u know, with that DFI, u can pump up to 4 Volts for the ram, give the puppies some love (say 3.1V) and watch them fly with ur CPU

Or watch them cook :) I think thats what killed my old ram. I was shoving 3.2v into it by using the OCZ Rambooster.

Nice O/C, now to Prime95 test it. :D

Which version is your CPU, core version/revision?

what ram did u have before?? Some ram react well to voltage, some doesn't. and u should give the ram active cooling if u plan to shovel 3+ voltz. Maybe you should just get some goodold BH5 or some new OCZ VX4k, pump it up and let loose the 222 goodness.

Yep, WTG!

I told people the DFI boards were going to be outstanding.

Oskar Wu, fewls!

I am guessing your SuperPi1m is 33, or a possible 32.

That's nice.
My next mobo may be from DFI.
My SuperPI 1M is already 32s, I think his will be better than mine.

Your core setup is almost identical to what I had before my 3200+ Winchester died. It too was at 260x10. Just curious, if you don't mind, what is your CPU score in 3dmark05?

I think thats mentioned in the pic supplied in the first post .

jakup, if a power supply change doesn't do it for me (thread on slight posting problem), I am joining you in the DFI motherboard changeover.

Its a great board :) Only thing I dislike is the spacing on the 6800 Ultras

I really need to get some new memory so I can explore the HT uppage. I can get 2.5 Ghz stable on air with no voltage modifications. So I guess thats ok. :( at like like 210 HT. This is with the newcastle core.

Yea I know, I had the corsair Pro DDR500 before, (I think it uses samsung chips) It didnt like voltage that much :(

Sell that 3800 for a 3500 or 3200 Winnie, Chris!! Seriously!! You'll have about the same potential albeit with newer technology!

Bah for a few extra FPS? Naw. 3800+ was a gift and it works fine. :) Its not my CPU thats holding back my Overclock right now. its this crappy DDR400 memory :)
