Well last night I left my computer on the startup screen of Far Cr, came back an hour later, machine is off. Won't start, first try different PSU, nothing. Finally pull everything out and reinsert one by one. Turns out one of my BFG 6600gts has died, now my board starts straight off when I turn on the PSU the boards boots automatically (no power on with the power switch) and also when I shut down the system the cpu, video card and chipset fans all remain running.

Anyone got any ideas what happened? Would it be that the 6600gt did damage when it died? The system seems stable but still concerned. I took the board out of the case and when I plug in the dead 6600gt it has smoke coming out of one of the capacitors.

Help :(

Both are about 7- 8 weeks old. RMA would mean being down pretty much the whole system for a month or so,,, not a good prospect :(
