no, it's still there. PNY's site won't allow a direct link beyond the home page from another web site. Just go to www.pny.com and go to shop pny, then choose refurbished products. After that choose verto graphics products.

i just put 2 Ti4600 cards in my shopping cart and started to checkout ($19.99/each - great deal - right?) - ground shipping is $65, 2 day is $240. A legit company working a scam - who the f..ck do the think would pay that???

Funny, I just tried to order a 6800U and the shipping cost was $18 for 2 day and $36 for overnight. Looks genuine to me.

Is this a good deal? I mean how reliable is a refurb?

I just set an order up for two Ti4200s @ 19.99 each and it calculated ground shipping @ 61.87 and 2 day @ 331.44! :D On a 6800U, ground was 10.82 and overnight was 36.89.

I doubt (hope not) that they are trying to run a scam. I'd rather think their website is borked.

They can be reliable. Mine is, i bought a refurb Asus 6800GT 256mb version, it came with everything the retail comes with and i got zero problems.

My gainward is refurb. from newegg. I wouldn't like to get refurbished things but they dont have Gainwards in the US anymore. But as far as being refurbished, its like brand new, works fine too.... just no warranty and no installation cd and box.

Bottom line is you got 30 days for a warranty.... if you install your card and it works fine for those 30 days, it's likely there's not a damn thing wrong with the card and it will continue to run fine as long as you treat it with respect and do NOT try to OC the hell out of it ....

Most people don't experience random deaths in the pc hardware. Take care of your stuff and practice preventative maintenance.

By the way, I just bought 2 at $250 each and second day are was only $18. I've bought refurbs before and generally they are pretty reliable considering a tech actually had to retest them before they sell again (That's more special treatment than most retail items get)....

Okay, I talk too damn much. Later!
