I have two CRT monitors. What I want to do is use one monitor in 3D mode playing games/benchies and on the other monitor I want my windows desktop in 2D mode with all my temp and voltage readings. Is that setup possible guys?

Yes, but due to the way most games do task switching, you won't be able to actually roll the mouse over to the monitoring apps. If you do alt tab to them, usually (Some games, like Civ 3 are the exception here), it'll minimise the game even though the apps are on the second monitor.

I should note that to do this you should be running the game in dualview mode.

the only way around the minimizing thing is to run the game in window mode..

I do this all the time with UT 2K4 and it works great, but some games don't seem to work with dualview.

Sounds good. The only problem is that Im going to have to trim down the DVI->VGA adaptor with a dremel to get the second monitor hooked up, but oh well, no big deal. Thanks for the replies guys.

Wow it worked. Both monitors were detected on the first boot. Dual screen was activated by default. Ive got America's Army on one monitor and my temps on the other, exactly like I wanted. It was almost too easy to set this up :D Thanks again for your responses guys.
