I'm still diggin' my PSP, and I'd like to get another game besides Lumines. However, I also dig the MX1000 mouse and have been eyeing one for a long time. The cost difference between the two isn't that great as if I got the game it most likely would be Ridge Racer or Tiger Woods.

Which would you get?

I use a MX1000 at work. It's nice but I don't really get excited about it. I've not gamed much with it either though. I'd go PSP game if there's one you'd really like to get. Some places are already renting PSP games so you could try a few out first.

Save your money for Battlefield 2

That's not one of the options. Thank you, please try again.

To everyone else who actually contributed, thank you for your opinions.

Uh oh...we have a tie right now. I'm going to be making my decision some time tomorrow morning as that's when I'll be heading to the bank to arrange the funds necessary to undertake this transaction.

What PSP game(s) are you considering?

Just Tiger Woods mostly. I enjoyed 2004 on my roomie's GC back in the day and I like how the PSP version is based on it.

That's the only sports title I'd consider right now. If you get it, be sure to post your opinion of it. :D

At the time of my vote, it looks like I tiped the scales in favour of the MX1000 :), I didnt realise that that mouse also comes in black, so I am now really of thinking of making this my next purchase.

I just tipped it back.

1 game for your PSP is an injustice to it. Pick up Ridge Racer.

Buy an mx518 instead :) It much better suited for gaming than an mx1000... got one yesterday and I have to say that I'm diggin' it :D but I'd still say a psp game...

EDIT: didn't notice you had a ms intellimouse SE :) That's the same mouse I had... and I loved it, but I got a doubleclicking problem so I had to change it :( but I'm happy with my mx518!

Having used the MX1000, I can say it's a good piece of hardware but it's a bit heavy for me. Still, it's the best wireless mouse around.

On the other hand, if you can live with your current mouse, I think your money will be better off on a new PSP game, there's much more fun in that.

I'd pick up a new PSP game now and save up for a mouse later. :)

I returned my MX1000 and developed new appreciation from my MX700. So anything is better than that flawed piece of hardware. The next revision might be a different choice.

PSP game. It's just hard for me to get excited about purchasing a mouse.

I decided to go with the game after all, picked up Tiger Woods and I'm really liking it. Decent graphics, controls take a bit of getting used to but not bad overall. I love the commentary, David Feherty (sp?) is awesome. :)

The more I use this mouse the more I question why I didn't buy it sooner. God, I love it. It fits one's hand perfectly...the only thing I don't like is the "forward" button is a bit too far up on the mouse so I actually have to move my hand to hit it and not hit the application switch button.

But other than that minor complaint, this mouse is absolutely amazing

I don't have this problem .. your hands must be small then :p
