No reason to stop using Firefox.
Why is this thread here? We do have a software section.

Wow thats pretty nasty looking.
I used 7.0 on someone elses machine before and I hate it. Its such a bloated piece of crap! IE and Firefox blow it away. Period. (yeah that was 3 periods in a row, shut up ;))

I kinda like it. :p
Some of the pure Firefox functionality is missing so I probably won't keep it. But still, it's different I'll give them that.

I have hated Netscape ever since the piece of **** 4.7 that half the known world still uses. I don't get why! It's a piece of ****!
apparently this stupid thing is based on Firefox.....

they are both based on Mozilla. And firefox aint so smooth either, compared to IE. IE's performance blows it away. IE starts instantly and renders web pages alot faster. It's not even close, it almost seems like firefox is written in Java. All that said, I still use Firefox.

Try using Firetune, and see if it takes care of the issues you are having. Firefox has drastically improved when it comes to performance since I used that app.

I will give it a try, I don't have "bad" performance in firefox per se, but it's noticiable is all. Like on a large web page if you grab the scroll bar and scroll it really fast, it dosent render as fast as IE. But it's still "Acceptable" but noticiably slower.

That's weird, I feel the exact opposite way about them. Firefox opens faster, and loads pages faster on my rig. I don't know about the scrolling issue, but I love firefox. I will probably never go back to IE.
