I was just surprised that the announcers mentioned Purdue as much as they did. :D It was a great game there in the second half. I'm glad Roy finally won the big one.

I honestly couldn't have cared less about either team. I only wanted Illinois to lose because they had such a great season. That's the only reason I don't like them...both teams are amazing and that was a damn-near perfect game. It was just great basketball and great to watch.

I didn't care much either. I was only pulling for Illinois because of the BigTen.

Meh. I'm glad Roy finally won his championship, but it's too bad he didn't stick it out with the team he made here at KU. It's really amazing just how instrumental we were in the whole championship process this year. Roy goes to North Carolina, which causes Bill Self to leave Illinois and come here to KU where he has to try and mold our kids from Roy's transition basketball to his shooting approach. Hectic couple of years.

You can't blame Roy for taking the opportunity to coach is alma mater.

Oh I know, but it still would have been cool to see him win with the seniors he recruited here.

I'm a huge Tarheel fan and I was so nervous I had to stop watching with around 5 minutes to play. So, I taped the end, checked the web later (once I was sure it over) to see who won and after seeing that UNC won, watched the rest of the game. Yeah, I know, it's sad.
