Sorry, I posted this up before I really got to looking at certain particular cases. I'm going to order the Cooler Master Praetorian case tonight. Sorry for making a fake thread, I guess?
NP, ok for me to delete it?
How about me? Can I delete it??? :D :D :D
If it's okay with him, sure, knock yourself out. :D
No don't delete :) Let's get opinions on a good case :D
Sure thing, we'll leave it open.
I really like my Lian-Li PC-71 so far. It's a full tower (got it for a water cooling setup). It's not the newest case around but it is very nice.

Sorry for taking so long. I guess since we don't have a PC case suggestion thread, why the heck not to leave it up? Just re-name it I guess.
Yeah I liked the Lian Li's but they are just a little too expensive for my taste. If I were to really get what I wanted, I'd get the V1000 in black () but I just don't have that kind of money, nor would I want to pay that much anyways. I also had to order another PSU since I am assembling my server as we speak.
I was also looking at the ASUS Vento and Cooler Master WaveMasters as well. Again, they were a little too expensive.
I picked up the sunbeam Transformer case, nice size, great airflow, great looks.
Solid all around.
(Will edit with a link when I can find one)
Yeah the Lian-Li V series cases are nice. All of those you mentioned are nice :D hard to choose.

I was trying to think of what all I wanted out of a PC case but one doesn't exist! LOL. Maybe I'll buy a Lian-Li next time I upgrade my entire PC or something . . . .

I don't know if you folks can get 3-R cases... they're a really good option for those on a budget. They tend to have a nice layout, and look pretty nifty too. Though I'm not buyin' a PC now, if I were, this is probably the case I'd buy:

One word WATER
There is no way I would build a
high performance PC on anything other
than H2O.
Checkout Koolance setups.
Easy to use and perform Great!
You can find closeouts and get
them cheap to.
Just my 2 cents. ;)

Just don't get tubing that is too soft like Tygon R-1000. I thought, "hey, that'll be sweet to work with"....WRONG. You can just look at the R-1000 the wrong way and it will collapse and kink all over itself. Ugh. The R-3603 is much better. :banghead:

Sorry, I'm just pulling my hair out trying to route the y-split from my three barbed CPU block down to my GPU block.

The Lian Li PC-65B is only $15 more then the case you got of Coolermaster? How can you say too expensive, unless you were going for the full tower ones...I love my PC-65B with a passion :D

I just built a system for my wife useing A Coolermaster Wavemaster case. First time I used a case with a removeable MB tray. What a pleasure. The case is very roomey. The only con for this case is that it does not use driverails. Just a small inconvienance. All in all the best case I've worked with.

Some of the LLs like the PC-60s are kinda plain to me. Plus with the Praetorian, you get a removeable mobo tray and it looks a little bit better IMO. Like I said, if I'm going to buy a Lian Li, it will be the V1000.

I like the Antec PlusView 1000AMG EU, nice and spacy. Though I don't feel like dismantling my system at this point. :)

The new CM-Stacker is coming soon. I suggest that you should wait for it (140mm-120mm [the end for 80mm!!!] fans, full aluminium shield, slideable M/B and HDD/Drives tray, 12x5.25" bays, full tower, BTX support, 2xPSU's... amazing).

The PC60 series has removable mobo trays.
From what I gathered online, only the PC-60 and PC-60 plus had the removable tray. As for the PC-61, 65 and so on, everyone said in their reviews that they didnt have removeable trays. My sources were from NewEgg reviews and a few Google Searches.
I can't wait for my case to arrive (next week) cuz my Aspire X-Dreamer has about had it lol. My little Doom 3 logo mod didnt work out the way I wanted it to :( Here's a pic, don't laugh too much:

Really? These all say "slide out motherboard tray".
You might be right about the 65 though.

Looks good. You need a red cathode or something over it though to cast a nice red glow coming out from it. :)
BTW I have a PC60 and although I agree that it's plain looking (a plus IMO) it's also a great case. Lots of room to work in, good ventilation, removable tray, etc..
