I just installed the Xtreme G 76.44 set after reading quite a few good reviews on them and everything went like usual until I ran the CS stress test. Instead of displaying the first few rotating square things error in red is spinning around. I connected to my usual CS server and the map loaded fine but I'm guessing that doesn't mean much. Is this a problem everyone is experiencing or is something wrong with my config? Also, if it is my config how would I go about fixing it?

It's a Steam Update that's causing the problem, if you install any other driver version you'll still get the same result

Oh really? It was working fine with Xtreme G 71.84. So you are saying even if I reinstalled that the error would remain?

Also, is it effecting the stress test results because a lot of people in other threads are still going by them?

Not sure if it would effect results. It most likely will but who knows. Yeah it would give you the same error if you installed 71.84. When you executed CS it must of updated after you installed the new drver this is why your getting the error. EVERYONE is getting it.

Thanks now I feel better. Love these drivers so far btw. This is my first time using one of the HD sets and there is a big difference. I am trying to decide between these and the Xtreme G 71.89s to use for my long awaited reformat.

I ran the xg 76.44 but I must have done something wrong when I added a profile (il2FB.exe). I could not start the game becuase suddenly that .exe was "not a valid win32 application. I added it to the list so I could enable AA and anisotropic within the card, but instead, the driver whacked the .exe. I said that already. Didn't I?
Anyway, I had to delete both driver and sim then clean the registry of both, then reinstall the whql 76.44, then reinstall the game.
On top of all that my car's turbo (02 WRX)just stopped making boost! And it's only Tuesday!!

These XG 76.44 HD drivers are very nice. KOTOR looks awesome, as well as other games. Very happy with them.
