What have you chosen as your current driver and why? I'm running Xtreme G 76.44 HD because the IQ/performance is hard to beat. Occasionally I do hear sound popping but it's very rare.

that's the only reason I dont use that driver..Yes I agree it is the best performance and IQ..but the sound popping pisses the crap outta me, but the one from nGo stops the popping for me, although I still think the XG's 76.44 HD are the best performance/IQ W/ sound poppping though hehe damn

That odd sound popping, can anyone clear this up....
I get the odd sound pop or glitch with the 76.44s XG , does it also happen with the 76.41s?...I cannot remember.

76.44 because it makes EQ2 run like butter!

Well, if you're currently playing Riddick, then 71.89 because it doesn't have the Riddick bug.

Now, I'm using 76.50 with a few files from 76.44 and the XG modded inf.

I'm currently using the XG76.44-HD, as said above, these are really outstanding IQ/Performance wise. Didn't noticed any popping, but I did noticed a hard-lock at Tribes Vengeances. But I don't think it's driver related, I had it before. I think it's within the OC and heat.

I'm using 71.89 cause they're stable as "heaven" , great IQ, no shimmering in cod at all, performance is quite good, not as much as in 76.44 but it's only 1-2 fps of difference, it's not noticeable. Been using it for some days and I haven't found any bugs yet.

P.S. Riddick bug is not a problem, just use opengl string overrider in rivatuner.

Was getting the specular lighting bug in HL2 using 71.89, so I've gone with 76.44 instead.

What's the "specular lighting bug"?

From my limited understanding, the shiny surface problem people get with some drivers in HL2 is caused by a bug in specular lighting.

Using 71.89 right now, just because they are the last ones out. Both 76.44 and 71.89 wirked fine for me. No sound pops with Audigy 1 :)

Yeah, scratch my earlier using 76.44 comment. I'm now using the 71.89s mainly b/c they were just released not too long ago and are official.

It is there for me although I turned it off since I don't use it. You should be able to turn it on by going to the Tools menu and selecting the "Enable taskbar icon".

Edit: Also, the overclocking window comes from coolbits so you have to install that or the nvtweak utility to get access to it.

Using the 76.44's.

For some reason I haven't had popping with these, whereas I was with the 76.41's...

Cant explain it, but not complaining at the results. Love the performance and IQ of this set.

71.89 drivers. They're the best SLI drivers right now.
