8th April which is really 8/5/2005 isn't it, you may have won the last battle but I will win the war. bwahhahahah.

Important stuff:
Free Ipod, University Degrees, Viagra oh and drivers:

They only work on 64bit operating systems (I have only tested with Windows x64 RTM), don't even try then on a 32bit OS. Don't. No they won't work. For the love of god stop asking. No. Stop It. Seriously.

why only for 64bit??

04-13-05, 05:30 PM
Oh man, you mean I have to convert over to 64Bit before I can convert these to XTreme-G? :p

04-13-05, 05:30 PM
thank you kind sir

EP, are these any good? I killed my x64 partition because I didn't really care for the 71.84s and the temp bug.

do they work with sli??!?!?!??!?

04-13-05, 06:53 PM
a little modding and they will work on x32

In the same way that ati drivers just need a little modding to work with nvidia? :o

Seriously tho, you would need to reverse engineer them, then recompile em at least.
Best just to accept that this is just another step in x64 being superior. (not paid by ms to say these things! :P)

As soon as a half decent x64 set drop i'll probably convert back over to it again.

Aside from what I feel is a slowdown in Counter-strike (only what cl_showfps 1 shows me) I have no issues with these.

AND EVEN THEN... 60fps at 1280x1024 with default settings is pretty good, 4x 6x, all highest settings.

04-14-05, 07:08 AM
This is the only thing that puts me off x64 now, the nVidia driver support because there is no way i'm touching the 71.84s again. No thank you very much.
Any of you XG be interested in helping me create a tweaked set, if I install XP64 again on my system??

04-14-05, 07:53 AM
Wow, that's the second time I was asked that in 10 minutes.

Sure, if you register in our forums. :p

No idea - really :)

04-15-05, 07:43 PM
hmmm with these and SLI I see a Temp increase in SLI I quit EQII just now and it said 90c wow, but thats a 20%+ bug so called, so IF i wouldve played longer I wouldve activated the GPU fans too drop the Core to around 81c hmm Interesting. :)

LoL, yeah im weird.

Apparently these drivers also address the "Widescreen DVI screen jittering" bug as well.

Now if only Chaos Theory worked on x64...damn starforce garbage.

Bored of these drivers now.
