View Full Version : Slow start of new drivers on GF3 Ti500?

Hello.

Since update to newest drivers I've noticed that XFree are starting (ie. shows nothing but black screen during initialization) very long - at least >5 seconds. Is it only my problem, or common 'feature'? Is there any possibility to shorten time of initalization?

There are a lot of people that have that problem with GF4 MX boards, but your GF3 Ti sounds like a different problem...

What's in your font path?

What about number of resolutions in the relevant Screen section? What's the range for VertRefresh and HorizSync?

Currently I don't know :) As soon as I get back to home
I'll check and try to remove unused entries (if any) sections you mentioned, maybe that will help.. In either case I'll answer later to these questions ;)
