is it ok to delete all files in "temp" directory of the documents and settings?

i'm running low on disk space in drive c:, is it safe to delete all files inside the temp directory?

Yes it is. I work at a PC repair shop and thats one of the first steps when we do virus and spyware removal.

It's agood idea to clean that folder out regularly, I usually do it once a month or so.
You can also clean out the files in the Windows\Temp folder.
