Hi all,
I'm having very bad problems!!!
is there anybody aware of list with recommendations. I need some serious advice what mobo to use with my two Geforce Fx3400. I tried a Asus A8N-SLI deluxe also the non-deluxe. It simply doesn't work.
If I try two reboot or restart, the system doesn't come up again. It sits somewhere, the monitor is not initialized nor do I hear the POST beep. I have two shut down and power up again.
As mentioned, I changed the mobo, als everything else (psu, RAM) was changed. In the beginning I had two XFX 6800 GTs running in SLI with no problems. So I assume that there is some sort off compatibility issue with nForce4 / Asus (A8N-SLI) and nVidia quadro FX 3400 graphics cards.
My hardware:
Asus A8N-SLI deluxe and non-deluxe (both flashed to the latest BIOS, also checked with older)
2* nVidia quadro FX3400 the y came out of a HP workstation (xw6200) BIOS 5.40.02.17.17
4* 512MB TwinMos PC3200 Speed Premium (also checked with 2*512)
AMD 4000+
RAID 0 attached to nvraid with WD raptor
2 NEC 3500 DVDs
Enermax 600 watt psu (also checked with two different psu's)
all BIOS-settings are default, no overclocking, only disabled things like firewire, midi, parallel, SIL RAID, secondary IDE.
Any advice is welcome!
