MP3's Skipping with new Audigy2

Iv'e used a SBLive, Audigy1 and Hercules GTXP in the same system and never had this problem before.

Now i have an Audigy2 and my MP3's will skip once or twice per song using WinAmp. I cant say iv'e tried anything to solve the problem since i have never had this problem before. Im hoping the next driver update from Creative will fix it. Im just curious if im the only one.

P.S. i have a almost brand new (used for 1 month) Hercules GTXP 6.1 for sale if anyone is interested...

What version winamp? Does it skip w/anything else?

Got an audio issue with dx9 rc2 meself

have not installed dx9... and like i said i havent tried anything yet. But i will try running mp3's with WMP for the next couple days to see what happens.

My MP3s skip with my Audigy1, I'm pretty peeved it's not been fixed yet...

EDIT: just looked at the link, I don't use WinAmp either...

Matt, what drivers are u using? The latest 283 package for the audigy2 seems to have fixed everything. But I never had any skipping problems with any sound file/(w/prevois driver sets) only audio/video sync problems in dvd's.
