Erm new "Hyperion Drivers" for the Kt 400!
Get them at teh following URL while theyr are hot!

http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=2

heres a quote-
"Users downloading drivers for mainboards with either a VIA Apollo KT400 chipset or VIA Apollo P4X400 chipset are strongly advised to chose the VIA Hyperion 4in1 v4.45 drivers for enhanced performance"

http://www.viaarena.com/?PageID=211

If those benches are to be true for all 3d chipsets then great a few extra 3dmarl2001 points....however the benches are for ati9700pro no results with ti4600 or otehr 3d cards...but the quake3 scores are something to take note off

another quote= "The results speak for themselves"

Please post post installation benches etc...lets see if via actually get the fingers out their....

You gotta love those graphs that at first glance show 2x the performance but then you realize the scale is from 14000 to 15000...

I'm still in the market for nforce2 still thanks. :D

They seem to work just right for my KT333 board.

Well after having installed and I can safe say that this set of drivres deliverssssssssss.......absolutely nothing new.
Well, so much for expecting a nice boost here and there.
3dmark2001 is the same, and PCmark2002. Now I own a gf4ti4200 and I wouldn't expect any substantial boost in 3d performance but I was expecting a boost in IDE performance but nada.......393 in pcmark2002!!! and 15mb a sec in sisoft for a 5400rpm ata 100 drive.

well ....something tells me last time I buy a Via based board...I should have learnt my lesson by now, kt-133a, kt333 and now the kt400.

Some people are glutton for pusnishment
