So I went out today and bout a linksys router and I keep getting numbered error messages when I try to connect through my psp. It detects the linksys @ 100% for the area, but then I select it, I enter my wep, but it always tells me its the wrong password, which is odd to me, cause im using the one generated by the disk that came with the package. I'm pretty much a n00b with routers, so if anyone can help me get this psp online with this router it would be appreciated. ( When I ignore the p-word set up I get numberd error messages, like " 11004385 error" .

Try using your routers MAC filter and hard code the PSP's MAC address in the routers config. Just make sure you tell the router to only allow the MAC address you specify.

Make sure you disable the Power Saving WiFi feature.

for my dlink router i had to set the authentication type to [open system] or [auto].

where can i disable the power saving feature? I got it to work but want to turn that power save feature off. I found my problem, I had my router @ 128bit encryption but the psp was @ 68 bit, had to fix it. Now everything is cool =)

On your psp menu go to "settings" then go to "power save settings". Look for "wlan power save".

hehe, isn't it great? I hope they release a stand-alone browser for it soon, having to go through all the wipeout menus is annoying.
