Hey guys!

What is the problem?I tried stock memory (1000Mhz) and same problem.Temp. was OK!

I noticed in riva tuner... before bios mod, that "Core VID, non-demensional (hardware monitoring)" was set to 6.0!When i set bios to 1.4v "Core VID, non-demensional" was set to 5.0
Is this a problem?
I don't know what Core VID, non-demensional means

Perhaps my power supply is the problem?I have LC power 550W!

PS:It's already back on 1.3v...

Then I see no problems here. Leave your card alone.

BIOS modification are always asking for trouble, period. If the card was meant to run at 1.4v, NVIDIA would have designed it that way. You put it back where it belongs and everything is fine. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out exactly what causes your system to act funny.

My GT did the same at 1.4v but only after 30 Minutes of playing CS:S.
The 1.4v mod is no good for the GT and this screen shows why.
Leave it at 1.3v.
1.4v is asking for trouble on a GT.

Does it run fine at 1.4v with stock core-clock settings?

It maybe has to do with the Power supply, if your PS can deliver
the required voltage with stability it will be fine at 1.4v.

Mine has run at 1.4v (420/1100) a couple of weeks now, not a single problem
after hours of demanding gameplay.

I have voided the warranty and are calculating with a dead card soon though.. but for the moment things are great! :)

I have a leadtek 6800GT and BIOS mod to 1.4V and its been running at this Volt for 2 months now. I have ran 3dmark03 several times, FARCRY,NFSU:2 even multiplayer as well...no problems...but my overclock is at 391/1100 FW enabled and 1.4V gives me higher score in 3dmark03. (With FW disabled I do get higher overclocks)

However it seems your memory timing might be too tight for that overclock. BUT 1200 is already way too high for a 6800gt cos its got tighter memory timings than 6800ULTRA. Unless you provide adequate cooling, I won't do such high memory timings on 6800gt. I'd rather enable the FW and then find a stable overclock. Remember with FW enabled, it gives you better performance. You can test this yourself for clock to clock in 3DMARK03.

i DOWNLOADED the latest BIOS from Leadtek and modded it to 1.4V and @ 391/1100 with FW enabled, its been workign fine for 2 months now...hope it continues the journey this way.

My GT run on 1.3v at 420/1215 with no problem...
I want 1.4v just for higher OC!
