Hey,

I've had this problem for about a month now, and this is the 3rd or 4th times this has happened. I rebooted the computer today and when it came back up, my nvidia graphics card was useless. Under display>settings>advanced there is nothing. The adapter is blank and there isn't the usual nvidia tab. My refresh rate is terrible and just from typing this post I'm already getting a headache and becoming nauseous (yes, it is really that bad). Before I've kinda just uninstalled everything nvidia, reinstalled it, booted a couple times, wait a few hours, boot again, and it magically works. I want to know what my problem is. Everything under the device manager is fine and the nvidia drivers are listed in the add/remove programs list. Also, when I was browsing through everest, I noticed this

Power Management Properties
Current Power Source AC Line
Battery Status No Battery
Full Battery Lifetime Unknown
Remaining Battery Lifetime Unknown

I'm not sure if that means my battery is dead or I just don't use one.

Here are my system specs, they are kinda specific because I am using Everest.

Well, I uninstalled, reinstalled to no prevail. However, I figured out that I needed to update the driver manually in the device manager to get it to work again. That still doesn't explain how it suddenly stopped working though....
