i got bored with original GW complaign as well, got to the desert and thats it.
it just seems like there is no reason to play.
GW2 better be a lot better gameplay wise, for me to consider coming back

wow that would be awesome! but you choosing asmodians or Elyos? if we chose 2 different classes we wont be in the same map. anyway the way things are going right now i have a feeling we might see GW2 first before AION.

yeah they are ridiculously hard, and if you are a dervish you cant even get a pt. last part of that game is F**ed up

i hated the realm of torment. so much so that by the tiem i go to the last guy, i just paid someone to run that mission becasue i couldnt stand it anymore.
it stupid becasue every area has a different degen on you, which by itself is fine, but when the enemies are level 28 and outnumber your (or have an equal party size), it just doesnt seem fair.
I'm with you on that. I've never had nearly as much trouble with heros and henchmen as I have in torment. And is THE MAIN REASON I did not buy eye of the north. I have no interest in playing content that is not atleast reasonably possible by a good henchi/hero group. I wouldn't mind it if bosses were epic and required humans, but trash and explorable areas? no thanks.

tbh realm of torment was a pain the first time that I went there, but I've done it recently with heroes/henchmen and I didn't find it hard.
Oh and gwen's areas are easily doable with heroes/henchmen, even in hard mode. Some dungeons are nearly impossible to do without several other human players in your group, but the explorable areas are easily doable.
I mainly play paragon and I usually take a variant of sab's build (http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/showpost.php?p=3159863&postcount=2), a hero build that I strongly advice you to try, it's very effective in pve.

and quite honestly i have been very uninterested in GWEN. i really cant get into the tier-ed mission structure. sub mission of sub mission of sub mission...
ugh. i like factions and prophecies becasue they were so simple

Well, last night I got to Shiro at the end and got smoked. I read wiki again and I know what I did wrong. I will attempt the gate of madness again tonight!

Well after reading this & the wow forum i decided im going to go buy this game today! .... im looking for a different type of game than im used to(COD4, BF2, first person shooters ect) ... just fancy a change of game type\style!
What addons or expantions packs ar there for GW?
Anybody got any tips & advice for a total noob to MMORPGs player, and i mean noob, ive never played a MMORPGs before!
