same, GW got boring quick once you reach 20 level

I`m a guild wars fan or what I used to be. Have over 6000 hours played over 3 years and have a r14 account which took me about 2 years of nonstop PvPing. :) Now I`m a retiree and been onto Crysis multiplayer lately. Best shooter since Quake 3.

agreed.

the strategic planning you have to do in GW is great. none of this 'bring all my spells to battle' crap. GW makes you do some recon and plan ahead.

It is an AWESOME game. It gets really fun if you have some good friends to play it with.

Yeah... played for a little bit again and I hate the game again... PVP is the most unbalanced thing I have ever seen in any game ever.

The beta was delayed until atleast sometime this year.
As for the game as a whole, its pure speculation.

Anet never mentioned any dates yet, but i'd expect it to launch Q2 2010, for the 4th anniversary of the first guildwars.

The original Guild Wars took over 4 years of development, I wouldn't be surprised if GW2 came out in 2011....would rather see a polished ready-to-go quality game than a buggy unsatisfiying derivative game just to squeeze money of consumers' pocket like some other.

Me too. One of the most satisfying things about Guild Wars was that it worked staright out of the box. It wasn't one of those jobs where you installed and then got straight onto the forums to find out why you couldn't update, then got back on to find out why you couldn't log in, then again to find out why the server was down, then again because once you got in it was limping like a snail with a gangrenous foot, then again because...

Amazing! almost 2 years have passed since the last post.. and Guild Wars 2 is getting closer!!!

I got 14/50 .. its still better than nothing. :)

I have 21/50 got quite a ways to go till 30 but i can reach it before GW2. Heh I sold a mini siege turtle for 75k the other day.... I have 4 left haha.

I got 21/50 also. I think I could actually get 23/50 since I got some minipets I still haven't "devoted" to my HoM.

Just added two more minipets and am at 23/50 now. I don't know how I played GW for so long :\.

Very nice!.. i bought a bunch of minis too and got mine to 16.. gonna work on the hero armor this weekend.

Wanted to get something too before GW2 comes out, but it looks they have changed the login and I can't remember any of my character names. NCSoft support is taking forever to get back to me...
