Don't expect Ranger to nuke as much as real Elementalist (can have man over 80) , secondary profession is just supplementary ,example you cant be a Mage/Warrior and go tanking and nukeing <- (paper armor) ;)
Well yeah, I understand that...but not giving me ANY more at all? That's just ridiculous and makes no sense if you really think about it.
I should get at least one more point of energy a level, just from experience of using it and getting older/being able to have more of an affinity for magic use.

yup, a buddy of mine is a warior as a primary, and he is stuck with that energy.
i am a level 13 fire elemental/necro (death) and i have 60-something energy. this game is so freakin fun.
and when i get home i gotta use the expert salvage kit on my stuff and upgrade my components... i didnt know i could do that.
and one other thing.. i have a 1 belt pouch now, but how do i get those other 2 little bags?

Buy them from a merchant in Ascalon, he is right by the dye merchant.
damn it! So you're telling me I'm stuck with only 25 energy unless I get some sort of boost (morale for example) or have on equipment that gives me a bonus?

Are your characters in Guild Wars stored locally on your PC or on ArenaNet's servers? I'm asking because I just want to make sure that I don't loose my characters during the rebuilding of my PC.

CAn anyone tell me ,when this game ends?
Not that im want that to happen , but already feel a little afraid to finish the game.. since have done a lot of missions and quest lately.. currently level 17 ,playing in Lionarch.. finished the YAKBEnds/FRost lands missions in 1 day. now playing in Kryta.not a fan of PvP ,, just the RPG role play of the game.
Have been said that even if you reach level 20 ,you still gain skill points.. however have read somewhere that here there is also a limit.
is simple words.. is there a definitive end in this game? a time where there is nothing new to see? or that u can be better that what already u are.. in the roleplay part. ? because Levels are limited to 20.. and skills points if im not mistaken to ~200-250. just like in PvP mode.
THis question ofcourse can only be answered by level20 people that have been playing at that level for a long time.

I've heard talk of them releasing free addon areas in the near future, along with upping the level limit.

i like the limit, cause it keeps the focus of the game on strategy.. not on "i am higher level than you-feel my wrath".

If you add somebody to your friends list... when they log in with ANY of their characters it will show that you are logged in (like if you added Klaus Barnabas and I was logged in as Dr Tobias Funke it would say Klaus Barnabas (Dr Tobias Funke).

when you have a main first character.. your name stays as that in parenthesis, but you new neame show up next to it.
and what was you main name again?
Ordered this game last night off play.com along with a m8 of mine, so were gonna go co-op on this. I really do not play these type of games, im more of a FPS person, but the non monthly fee was just to tempting to turn down.

I haven't played him in a while because he's level 8, my brother just got the game and I wanted to play with him and it gets really effing hard after the Searing.

I never understood people that pick wierd classes like Warrior/Elementalist and complain about not having huge energy reserves... When have you even seen a warrior casting massive spell, hexes etc?? What I have noticed is if you pick a class with low energy reserves but concentrate on building you skills (i.e. Ranger-Expertise) the amount of energy required to cast your spells etc. are reduced. Anyway this game is rediculously addicting. I'm lovin every minute of it!! :D
I'm a W/E 9 and I really like it so far. A lot of variety and balance it seems.
For me, I hate Diablo and MMORPGs, but the irony is I love guildwars :eek: . How did Arenanet do that? Actually, I don't see the resemblence with Diablo, maybe though that is because I didn't play Diablo long enough.

Thats the reason.. why i picked WArrior/ME .
Mesmer have lots of very good spells and magic that only cost 5 of energy. even monks needs more energy than mesmer in their spells..
HOwever somewhat i regret not chosing MOnk as my second profession.. they are badly needed in many missions quest.. even if u use them as second. :(
My character W/Me focus is mostly offense not defense.. so its heavily depends to have Monks around them. planning to make a second character MOnk as primary.. because so many quest and mission could not be done without them.. and people usually wait half an hour or more until they find them.
a side note..
Anyone here knows where i can buy the Signet of capture?
I already got one from a quest in LIonsARch.. but can be used only one time per captured skill. and he doesnt give you more of those. heard that u need to buy the signets of capture from skill trainers later in the game. but dont know where.
Any info appreciated.

Well the new update makes me not want to play as much anymore... they nerfed farming... so now that I have already beaten the game twice I don't have much else to do... Farming and going to UW was the only fun I had after that.... now I have nothing :\.

okay.. anyone notice that update last night?
it added rune traders in the towns/outposts. i think that sucks. the best thjing for a newer player, is to find a fancy (major/superior) rune and sel it for a binch of money. and the rune traders are supposed to relieve all the rune selling going on, but hell, the superior rune of fire or major vigor are still moer than 8 platinum. this sucks
