Im trying to solve a problem with a PC i built, its been running fine since first built and then a month ago it started with it woundt shut down proberly but restart and kept saying windows has recovered from a serious error.

After searching net i tried replacing memory and reinstalling windows and that worked BUT for a few days and its started coming up with windows has recovered from a series error after it restarts now on its own.

the error code im getting now is

BCCode : 1000008e BCP1 : C0000005 BCP2 : BF804986 BCP3 : EC3D8104
BCP4 : 00000000 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1

System specs are
Athlon XP Sempron 2400
MSI K7N2 Delta
PNY Geforce FX 5700 LE 128mb
2 x 256mb PC 2700 memory
USB Cable Modem
Epson R300 Printer
Onboard sound

Im thinking Trying my graphics card in the system to see if that works, other then that im puzzled whats causing it, as ive changed memory and that stopped the system from not shutting down properly and now shuts down ok.
Its just crashing when playing games online like through web browser and normal functions.

When it first started acting up i disabled restart on error on blue screen and it kept referring to VIDEO CARD but that error code stopped and its another, so the first error code be that must have been memory and video card drivers problem.

Changed graphics card and system started to work ok, but now another windows serious error popping up

Bccode : 4e BCP1 : 00000099 BCP2 : 00001EBFE BCP3 : 000000003
BCP : 00000000

Havent a clue whats up now

Only things i can think of is

1) harddrive

2) Motherboard

Could a little power surge caused through power getting cut off caused a little surge through system and damaged motherboard ?
