For sure, it will either break their bone or make them rich. But if they have loyal customers for life, it will be a good thing.

Just got the new (second) RMA replacement 6800OC tonight. Haven't have a chance to install it yet as the kids are playing on the PC, which is using a GF4 MX420 as of now. If this card works and doesn't give me the problem as the earlier RMA did, then I will be a very happy camper. Will keep you guys posted.

Back for a progress report. Well, so much for all the problem, it wasn't the video card that was causing all those weird/strange display. The new/second RMA replacement card is doing the same exact thing. Ended up going back to driver 66.93 and that fixes the problem. Both 71.84 and 71.89 are giving the same exact weird/strange display. I don't know what could be causing the problem. Thanks for reading. Maybe this can give someone else who may have the same problem a lead somewhere.

Well, my RMA, which is a BFG 6800OC is going bad. It's show artifacts very often now. I've just called BFG and an RMA is in progress. I believe I will just get another 6800OC but who knows, I may get a 6800GT or 6800GS! Will keep you guys posted when I get my new RMA. Wish me luck for a 6800GT AGP or better.

You've totally taken me wrong. I am not that type of user. I would never waste my $ to send in the card if it's not bad. I've had the Ti4600 for years w/o any problem until last May. Unfortunately, this 6800OC doesn't last as long my Ti4600. I just got my replacement 6800OC back today. Thanks for reading but don't misunderstand me that way. :thumbdwn: FYI: I don't even OC my video card.

Ok,maybe just a bad batch.Actually it does seem as if more and more cards are leaving the factory as bad products these days. The smaller size of the components is prolly leading to early meltdown.I would suggest you put an Arctic 5 cooler on it,my card NEVER exceeds 55c(after a session of FEAR 54c)Best $30 you could spend on that card IMO

Yea I'll agree with that on bad cards. I got a good deal from prolink similar to this, there 5900xt golden limited edition died on me, as replacement sent me a 6600GT :D.
