I wonder if they gonna send me the same model or a better/newer GPU type of card to replace my dying/dead Ti4600. My real question is do they still make the Ti4600 (at least to replace any RMAs they may get)?

Dont get your hopes up too high because you will most likely get back a refurbed Ti4600 but let us know if they send you something better.

they'll prob. send u a 6600gt or 6800nu i'd say. It'll be pretty hard to find a 4600 die these days.

I will jump so high my head will hit the ceiling and the impact will kill me instantly and then my living will will send one of you guys my card instead! Hehehehe....just kidding. Back to reality, yeah, it will be nice if I get a newer/more updated GPU card.

The ti4600 was $400 back in the day right? If that's the case, then if you do recieve a newer generation card from BFG, it could be a fx5900ultra or a 6800gt. Hopefuly it's the latter. ;)

If they still have them, you'll likely get an FX 5900 XT. That's a heck of an upgrade over a Ti4600. I'd be really surprised if you got anything better than that.

Yeap, that card used to cost $399, then $299 (which was when I actually bought it), so I hope BFG is kind enough to send me an updated GPU video card. That'll be the greatest thing I would receive, ever!

Oh, UPS delivered my RMA on Wed, so it should be early next week when I willl receive my replacement (assuming the words of the guy on the phone are true).

Are their performance equal?

It would still be an upgrade, provided they didn't send one with TurboCache. MikeC did a (p)review of the 6200. It should give you an idea of how it will perform.

I emailed BFG Tech for status and they said it should be shipped out today (Friday). I hope it did already. I just emailed them again to see if it indeed was shipped out earlier today. I will let everyone know when I receive it. I hope I will have more exciting news to tell rather than just, "Oh, it's the same model."

You won't get a 6200TC as it is PCI-e.
In my opinion, it would be a upgrade in some games but it is still an entry level card and I can't see BFG replacing your card in their warranty program with a 6200 AGP card, maybe a 6600.
Hopefully you will get a 6600GT...good luck! We will be watching with interest.

Thanks...I will report back some time early next week. Hopefully, I will say, "YEAH, YES! YES! YES!...IT'S A 6600GT AGP 8X VIDEO CARD....WOOHOO!!!!!!!!" :D instead of, "Aw.....it's just the same thing..."

I'm here to report how this replace card works. It's a mixed bag of candies, some sour, some sweet. I'm not sure if it's driver related or something else. What I can tell is if, for example, I click Start and Turn Off Computer, my whole screen fills with garbage lines across the whole screen. Or if I'm doing something like running RTHDRIBL to see how hot the GPU temp will go and I go to Display properties to check the temp, the whole screen does the same thing. If I exit out of temp screen, screen goes back to normal. It seems to do it when it multitask. If I do it again, same thing again. Haven't tried a different driver to see if it is driver related or not. I'm using driver 71.89. If anyone has experienced something like this before, please tell me what the solution is.

Hmm...PSU maybe? It may be a driver problem so try one of the earlier revisions.

Is 400-450W PSU big enough for this card? If it is, I guess it's not PSU's fault.

I guess it's the card. I tried it on two different PC (one based on Intel and the other based on AMD) with the same exact result. Tried different driver, same result. Well, at least I have the 6800OC now, so if I have to RMA it again, I know for sure I won't get anything less than that. Hey, maybe I was meant to get a 6800GT? HEheheheehhe...that will super!!!!!!!!!!

Just called BFG Tech earlier today. They gonna ship out another card to replace this one. They will include a prepaid label to ship this card back. Now, that's what I call Customer Service! BFG Tech rocks!

BFG Tech rocks!I've said it before, and I'll say it once more. With the legendary support offered by BFG, it's a wonder that they make any profit at all. It seems like support on this level would kill a company finacially in the long run.

But, hey, I'm not complaining! BFG is one hell of a customer focused company.
