hello,
well i have Suse 9.2 right now installed on a 30GB harddrive!
i have also found a 8GB hard drive.. ( well not really found its from an old computer)
i was wondering is there any way i could move suse on the 8.0 GB hard drive without changing my settings and make my 30Gb harddrve my storage harddrive?

I'm not 100% clear what you want to do, but anyway it should be possible with a knoppix live cd - or a suse live cd for that matter. Install both drives, master/slave properly configured, and boot the live cd. Mount the source partitions and make any new partitions (with fdisk), mount them and copy the files over with the -a switch to cp. Edit /etc/fstab as appropriate. Now boot a grub floppy disk*, specify your kernel and parameters and boot that. Suse ought to now come up. Run Suse's lilo or grub to make your hard disk bootable again.

These instructions are a bit sparse... read up on all of the above procedures before your attempt.
