What does the alarm sound like? Generally there are a bunch of different error beeps depending on what the pattern is like. Can you even get into the bios? I'd try reseating the CPU, RAM and video card. Check all the power connections and the like.

the alarm is really hard to describe without letting you hear it. But i was thinking of reseating the cpu. I will also try some different memory.

Only time I had an alarm was when I had an older video card in a newer mob, I had to adjust the agp voltage via the BIOS.

Your situation could be similar. If you can enter BIOS, check the voltages and make sure the AGP matches what the card should be fed.

Also, reseat your cpu and heatsink. Is your cpu heatsink plugged in to the right fan connector?? Otherwise your MOB could not be detecting a cpu fan.

Does your BIOS have any settings for alarm on errors or halt on errors?

Basically, do a summary of every recommendation you've heard. reseat everything, start with just the basic necessary components, then work your way up.

Good luck man.

Post Boot up sound errors are as follows... (most mobo's)

1) Beeeeeeeeep, Beep - Beep. <--- Video Issues.

2) Beeeeeeeeeeeeep - Beeeeeeeeeeep - Beeeeeeeeeeep ect. Just long beeps.. <-- Memory.

lol it's the best way I describe it. :)
