Basically, I have an aluminium case with plenty of fans which is really cool inside and fan on GFX card is working fine.

My new Maya 9700 Pro freezes in 3D Mark and games at default speeds but runs fine if underclocked.

Should I run it for a few days underclocked and see if it beds in, and then try it at default speeds again to see if it's okay. OR is it a dodgy card that should be returned immediately.

Soltek 75DRV4 mobo. I have underclocked it to 270/270 and it still freeezes after a while. Is it likely to be an incompatibilty problem or just a bad card.

Over 50hz down on default and still freezing is bad. Think I'll RMA it and get another 4600.
