I'm getting this nasty system glitch where my whole system will suddenly pause for a full second, then resume like nothing happens. If i'm playing an MP3 or video, you can hear a nasty studdering sound when it does it.

I've had this prob before but it usually goes away, but now I don't have a clue what to do :(

any help is appreciated!

like he said..specs raid 0...this also happened in win2k..I had to adjust my UDMA settings for my motherboards integrated drivers..

my cd-r would only work on UDMA 33..not UDMA 66..it would skip like crazy..on 66:(

the reason i mentioned Raid-0 is because i have seen the exact same thing happen when someone i know tried to run raid-0 with not identical HD's

Well.... if i was having your prob the first thing i would do it format. Then if the problem persists start thinking about any Drivers that could be causing it.
