I'm looking at buying this PSU with a new Lian-Li V1000B case. What do you guys think of this PSU?

There have been threads discussing this PSU in this forum. Reviews are mixed on it. Some love it, some have had problems with the unit and an even bigger hassle with the RMA procedure. I wouldn't touch it because in a Maximum PC test, it completely bombed. Antec, PC Power and Cooling and Thermaltake are IMO superior products.

Saturnotaku is right on. I would stick with Antec, PC Power/Cooling, and Thermaltake. Also people like the OCZ PowerStream series as well. But that X-Connect is a POS.

As said above, I would also stick to either an Antec, PC power/cooling, thermaltake or an OCZ. I have an Antec 480W TruePower right now. It hasn't caused me any problems. I've had it for almost a year now.

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at it because I knew it would fit in the case I want (Lian-Li 1000B) and I wanted it modular. Anyway, I'm looking at this one now, opinions please.

The 520w in particular is real popular. Can't go wrong there. I wish I had bought that instead of my Silencer 410. Almost as quiet and right now I'm having some issues w/my Silencer. :(

That's good enough for me. Only thing is I decided to get the Thermaltake Shark case with OCZ's 600w PSU.

Thanks guys
