I just set up my friends SLI-Comp with 2 zalman vf 700 cu's and an amd 4000+
question, he idles around 40-45C and load is generally in the mid 50's, is this alright for the regular components?
also, the two 6800 GT's are idling about 63-66C (74-48 load), that seems pretty high for that cooler but they are virtually right on top of each other (one of the backplates didnt fit, it would stop the fan) and there is a mount for a fan pretty much right on top of the cards (on the side of the case). it seems to be sucking air from the outside (i put a piece of paper up to the grate and it stuck to it and i could generally feel air going inside the case). Should i put a fan blowing to inside the case onto the cards, or make it an exaust port so hot air can escape. there is also a fan about 4 inches above this one blowing out (above the processor). there is a 120mm fan on the back that is blowing quite fast and the case also has a 80mm in the front blowing on the hd (plus the front is aluminum mesh so air can easily get in).
