Well, I've tried numerous configuration and settings, but nothing helps. I get some continius low framerates in EnemyTerritory - most of the time it's 80-70FPS, but while running through loaded scenes it gets down to 45FPS, and when reaching intense battles it's getting even worse - 28FPS and souther. :(

I have a 3200+ A64 Winchester and a 6800GT + 1GB of RAM for god's sake!

Settings are: RivaTuner shows PCI mod, dunno why. XG's default tweaked values + some quality tweaks of mine. High quality filtering + all optimizations off. 4xRGMS, 8xAF. 1024x768 @ 85Hz. 32bit. Clocks - 405/1140. DXT3 compression. All textures enabled through Direct3D settings @ RivaTuner. Maximum Quality IntelliSample and TLF (RivaTuner). Texture Sharpening is enabled. VSync is off/app controlled. And that's the main settings I think.

IT'S A 3 YEARS OLD OPENGL QUAKE3 ENGINE BASED GAME!!! BAH! EVEN HL2 AND RIDDICK RUNS MUCH SMOOTHER.

BTW, what is this Video Playback bug that's everyone's talking about? (I did noticed that the intro movie of C&C:Generals is f*cked up!)
And I get some random system hard-locks in SCCT @ near ultra clocks. why is this?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Hombre

Still sounds like vsync is still on? Try forcing it.

Disabling the AAxAF completely didn't help! neither forcing the VSync off.
Although I did manage to get 35FPS from disabling all optimization. So this issue is settings related.

Yep, tried 71.98WHQL'd straight from nV's site.
BTW, the XG's actually IMPROVED the performance.

similar set up - never falls below 100fps.. there may be a problem with punkbuster? suggest you reinstall ET and manually update punkbuster..
