Celts, adios. Pacers, howdy.

One of the more boring recent game 7's in my experience. Very little passion and the fans just never got behind their team.

Pacers deserved to win this one though.

Still a few mins left but barring a miracle, its over.

Celtics fans showed their arse, too...

On another note, I hope the Pacers put the smack down on the Pistons...they are not as strong as they were a year ago...and I hope the Pacers take them down!

Obviously...I am pumped. While the circumstances where brougth on by themselves...to see the Pacers continue to overcome again and again this year is unique to see. Carlisle should be coach of the year. I bet he won't get it...but no doubt that he should. I mean, they've played with six players at times, missed over 140 games worth by various star players due to suspensions or injuries, etc. Any other team would have folded months ago. These guys have something to prove and like Jermaine said about meeting the Pistons now... "It's only right, it's only right".

I hope it's a great series. It will be a defensive battle and the fact that they split the season series 2-2 (each winning the away games) should make for a tight game each night.

I think that all the hype shall be put to rest after the first two games. I also think that the referees are going to be a little more strict on the foul-calling--just to let them know they are not going to let it get out of hand....

EDIT: My bad! :D

Why in the world would the referees be interested in bird calls during a playoff game? DOC, you have lost all posting rights pertaining to the NBA playoffs after predicting Sactown would beat The Sonics. Man, Spurs sure did last night though. I was really surprised to see your assessment of Robert Horry. I believe that Horry has one of the highest BB IQs in the league. His passing, defensive positioning, quick hands, and clutch shooting are probably the reason he is the only active player with 5(soon to be 6) championship rings.

Cut me some slack, will ya!
Anyways, Sacremento deserved to loose because of the way they played...they played horrible, and SA was on top of their game. I'll give credit where credit is due, but Horry can not go the whole series playing as well as he did the other night.

I expect the Spurs to make Sea look like a bunch of school girls, but I don't think they will get pass the Suns.

Suns are one injury away from a fishing trip. I beleive that your playoff rotation should be able to go at least 8 deep, Suns are playing a 7 man rotation. The HC advantage will help the Suns, but I think that the Spurs will keep them out of their game with stifling defense. It is going to be interesting.
