Was wondering how I can check what my usb drivers are at right now. I've installed win xp with sp2 on my new system and I don't think I have USB2 support, printer complains...

How can I check and upgrade my drivers so I have USB2 support please.

Thanks,

Vanz

Did you install XP then SP2 on top of it? If so, you may have to go into your device manager and manually update the USB controller to support USB 2.0. Go in there and if there's a question mark or the USB controller is an unknown device, go into its properties, and select "Update driver." Let Windows search for the update; it should find the files and automatically update the controller.

That's weird because XP SP2 comes with USB 2.0 support and no extra drivers are needed. I would check your BIOS and make sure that your USB is set to High Speed and not Full Speed. I may have that backwards but make sure the one you selected is set to 480mbs and not 11mbs.
