I think it will be pretty much a refresh in that the Radeon 9700 and the X8*0, pretty much the same but more powerful it depends how you look at it hopefully PS3.0 will be more useful as at the moment the peformance hit is huge in games like Riddick and Splinter Cell CT.

There will be architecture improvements to deliver more performance per clock, that's for sure, just look at Geforce 6800U Go performance and it was released on January (I think), but I was expecting more than that (I still do), next year gpu's will be WGF2.0 compliant, so which ones are going to support WGF1.0?
