I just got a new computer and it reboots after loading most games. I'm guessing its my video card. my specs are as follows

ASUS A8N-SLI
Atholon 64 3000+
1GB ram
GF6200 128mb
WD 36GB 10,000RPM
Windows XP Pro

I have latest drivers for my video card and nforce chipset. any pointers?

Firstly. Format computer and then load SP2..and then nforce chipset drivers..after which graphics drivers...then play games and see if it reboots?

Use all the latest drivers...
N.B with no overclocks at all even on the CPU or Ram.

sounds like a weak PSU, What PSU are you using?

That would be my guess too ,it sounds like a weak power supply ,because when you load a 3-d game it uses more power and when there is not enough it reboots.

More then likely it is his PSU unit... now days anything less then 18Amps on the +12V rail is less then adequate.

Either not enough amps or unsteady voltages. I would have to agree sounds like a PSU problem
