It's been a happy pay day for me. I opened my check to discover a nice bonus of over $200 added to my check. I was informed by my office manager that this money is a rebate from the company life insurance policy. I figure, I don't care where it comes from because it just paid for my Xbox. :D
Do any of you get Christmas bonuses at work? If so, what do you use them for?

Yes I get a little somethin'. Altho, I don't get it in december, I get it in November and Jan. Either way, I'm happy, its $2,000 that I don't need.:D
I think I'll use it for a late x-mas, for me!:p :D

Yup I get one, its half of a months salary but it sucks because they take over $600 out in federal  I personally think its just the money they've been taking from you all year, but hey I'm still grateful, besides extra money is always a good thing ;)

I get a $25 gift certificate from my store. I work in a ****in supermarket.
THe only bonus I got was a nasty christmas dinner (they didn't put enough food in their garlic)
To make up for it the company gave us a $25 gift certificate at a grocery store (all must be spent there) and a pleather day planner :/
So... I'm most likely gonna spend mine on groceries lol

No bonus here, although they do have a nifty sandwich machine near me.
I received a small bonus, but Uncle Sam took 40% of it :(

I received a check today from a long-term investment my parents set up for me (with my own money) when I was a kid. Let's just leave it at the amount was by far the most I've ever received at one specific point in time. I can't get too excited about it, though because I have to 1) put some of it as a down payment toward my house, 2) buy appliances for said house and 3) pay off my car.
This money which took over 20 years to grow will mostly be gone within the next 6 weeks. Not that I'm complaining, but still.

Everyone in our company gets $50 cash for xmas (we also get $50 on our B-day for some reason). :)
Our year end bonus comes at the end of the fiscal year in September, and is deposited directly into our 401k. So while Uncle Sam gets none of it, I don't get it until I'm 65...
There is a thing called Tax Fraud. ;)
