Have you ever seen a worse looking console in your life? It looks like a standard CD ROM drive for the PC, but not quite as sleek.

Just eww...

All the systems I think are about the same in looks. They all have a futuristic look which is great. I dont see how you can like the PS3 design then call the XBox360 or this ugly. I like it.

Everything looks better then the 360, well except the original Xbox.

Weather you like it or not its damn awesome you can download past games. I will pay anything to play some old Super Nintendo classics again.

Let's see if it uses that "no wanking allowed" controller setup.

Yeah I know but but still nothing like playing them on a nice TV. I just couldnt get into emus, maybe it was the small screens which you had to keep to maintain clarity.

At least it doesn't look like a little kids toy from Fisher-price, like the Cube.

It looks like it's for adults, which is a good sign.

Do you guys really care what it looks like?

lol, all game machines look like they're for kids, because they are! I know the average gamer is 28 or so yadda yadda, but we play them because we won't grow up!

I dont think so. Revolution, PS3 and XBob360 look alot better than many expensive audio equipment and will fit right in with some of these new Satellite and DVD boxes which are going all gray. They dont look like toys at all to me. Say that you will have to say the same about alot of pc case. And I am grown dude, I just play game to have fun and relax.

hmm... glossy black. It will probably be a fingerprint and scratch magnet, just like the Sony PSP :)

*groans*

It is simultaneously your greatest source of strength and your greatest weaknesswrt glossy black designs.....

Glossy black is the same like my Antec Sonata case which is cool.
This new Nintendo console looks discreet. It is however nothing like
the thing i had in mind ;

which was a revolutionary device which projects true 3D holographic
images....so, I'm kinda curious what the 'revolution' in this machine actually
is

Nintendo has lost their mind if they don't believe they need technology to compete with the X360 and PS3. This generation is more about technology than the previous ones.

Without good 3rd party support the Revolution is Doomed. And we all know how great Nintendo is at getting 3rd party developers.

The Nintendo Revolution is 100,000 little japanese kids running down the street, doing wire-fu jumps, and overthrowing the Republican government.
Also there will be "tilty" controllers.

It will not be televised.

Nintendo has the innate ability to survive...even though they are at a distant third...with no 3rd party hardly at all.

I'd be HIGHLY surprised if Revolution goes anywhere, and I won't be surprised if Nintendo goes software only.

Actually I heard the "revolution" is supposed to be some kinda 3d shutter glasses. It's kinda gimmicky and it won't win the console wars, but I'll buy it.
Metroid or a Star Wars Rebel Assault type game would be kinda fun in 3D.

That was debunked already.

I agree the Revolution looks like crap. Although you guys seem to be forgetting that what they are showing now at E3 is the prototype

vX

are they going to show any actual games for it @ e3? Or demo's, I mean.
