Essentially I want to add programs to run when windows xp starts because I think my motherboard is messed up at the moment and causes random restarts.

Anyone know how to apply this? I can't seem to do it through msconfig

I just want the stuff I was working on last to run or be on when I last left it instead of opening it all up again.

Thanks.

Ok, in the start menu there is a folder called Startup. Just put a shortcut to the program in that folder and whenever windows starts, it will start everything in that folder. Did that answer your question?

My Computer / Folder Options / View /

Check the box that says "Restore Previous windows at logon". Click Apply and you're done. (Assuming your running XP). ;)

That won't start the programs he's using though will it? It will just open up whatever folders were open. I've never used that before.

Just tried it out and this is exactly what I wanted, thanks for that man! :)

I just need to get my cpu and motherboard replaced now to fix those constant restarts.

Thanks for the help :D
