Well, the first day is always hectic, as we try to figure out where everything is, and it is also the most crowded day. That being said, I tried my best to get a hold of Tim Sweeney. Everyone gave me the run around. I did manage to see Ed Boon however.
I emailed Tim again, and hopefully things will be good for tommorrow. Like I said.. the first day is hectic :)
Some Facts of Day 1
-Battlefield 2 looks very impressive, and was playable at more than one location. I will find out tommorrow if BF2 has a Navy.
-To see the PS3 you had to wait in a HUGE line.
-A UT2007 demo was being shown (didn't have time today, very long line)
-Need for Speed Most Wanted I was a little disappointed in. The graphics are not very good at all (have some gameplay footage) This was shown on the Xbox360 and was jaggy city. If this is what the Xbox360 graphics look like, I am totally unimpressed.
-Stalker is not here this year, when I asked a THQ rep, he said next year.
-Xbox does not seem to have a USB port.
-The graphics in Quake Wars is AMAZING. I have some footage of that as well...
-Prey, both strange and awesome, one thing's for sure, it is very different. I have footage of nearly the entire showing, you will see what I mean :)
-There is no G70 shown this year.
-Serious Sam.. was a little unimpressive. The graphics look very dated, gameplay seems a little too simple, I will give it a better look tommorrow.
